Daniel J. Chiacchia

Founder


Dan Chiacchia devotes his practice to representing those who have been injured as a result of an accident or other mishap. He also represents those who have been victims of child sexual abuse pursuing multiple claims under the Child Victims Act.



Prior to entering private practice, Dan was a prosecutor with the Erie County District Attorney's office where he tried hundreds of criminal cases to hone his trial skills. Since entering private practice Dan has established himself as one of the best trial lawyers in Western New York. He is both aggressive and practical, routinely achieving success for his clients whether it be a million dollar personal injury verdict or negotiating a substantial settlement.


Dan is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted in New York State and Massachusetts as well as the United States District Court, Western District. He earned his law degree from the University of Buffalo and his Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Fredonia.


Dan has taken an active role in his community acting as a volunteer coach for basketball and football for several years. He was also instrumental in establishing the mock trial program at his alma mater, Frontier High School, and received accommodations for his many hours of service to the school. Frontier continues to compete quite successfully in the NYS mock trial competition. Dan continues to volunteer his time lecturing at local high schools and colleges.

Tiffany M. Kopacz

Senior Associate Attorney


Tiffany M. Kopacz joined the Firm as an attorney in 1999. For more than two decades, Ms. Kopacz has worked on behalf of injured individuals to ensure that they receive caring, effective, results-driven representation. A tenacious advocate, she fights for the just results our clients deserve, including writing and arguing appeals when necessary. With her keen intellect and ability to formulate legal arguments in complicated cases, she has been instrumental in the Firm’s efforts in obtaining millions in compensation for our clients over the years. 

 

In addition to her work as a personal injury attorney, Ms. Kopacz also maintains an active guardianship practice (Article 81), including court appointments to serve as attorney for individuals alleged to be incapacitated and serving as guardian for persons determined to be incapacitated under the law. Ms. Kopacz has extensive experience negotiating difficult legal scenarios, even in the most contested and sensitive of cases.

 

Ms. Kopacz is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Bar Association of Erie County and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in New York State and the Western District of the United States District Court. Ms. Kopacz received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center after receiving her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons, especially watching them play travel baseball and club volleyball at Niagara Frontier (NFVB).

Lisa A. Poch

Senior Associate Attorney


Lisa Poch joined the firm in 2007. She is an experienced trial lawyer whose practice is focused on representing people who have been seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, slip and falls and other mishaps. Ms. Poch graduated, with distinction, from the University of Toronto and received her Law Degree from the University of Buffalo Law School. There, she competed on multiple trial teams, representing the law school in competitions across the Country.  She earned the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.

 

Lisa previously served in the roles of Town Prosecutor, Town Attorney and Deputy Supervisor for the Town of Hamburg, New York. She currently serves as Town Attorney for the Town of Evans, New York

 

Ms. Poch has achieved great success at trial on even the toughest cases, recovering significant sums of money for her clients on cases where the insurance company was not willing to offer a penny. She has been named a Rising Star for plaintiff's personal injury litigation by Super Lawyers Magazine for the past seven years and is also a Buffalo Business First 40 under 40 nominee. Lisa is admitted to practice in all of the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She has argued appeals before the New York State Appellate Division, New York State Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. She has also handled matters before the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and New York State Division of Human Rights. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York (Western New York Chapter), where she is a Local Director and chairs several committees. She is a proud member of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.

 

Lisa and her husband, Jason, reside in Hamburg with their three children. They enjoy traveling, volunteering and cheering on the Buffalo Bills!

Kevin F. Walsh

Attorney


Kevin F. Walsh, Esq., is a seasoned personal injury lawyer who is dedicated to helping people obtain full compensation for injuries sustained from car accidents, truck accidents, tractor trailer accidents, dangerous property conditions, defective products, medical malpractice, and nursing home or residential care facility negligence.


Mr. Walsh’s litigation experience includes trying numerous cases to verdict in New York State Supreme Courts located in Erie County, Niagara County and Monroe County, and includes his service as lead counsel in numerous mediation and arbitration proceedings.


Mr. Walsh is a graduate of Suffolk University Law School, in Boston, Massachusetts. During his time at Suffolk, he distinguished himself as a member of the Suffolk University Law School National Trial Team, and as the Lead Articles Editor of the Suffolk University Journal of Health and Biomedical Law. His academic journey also includes a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Legal Studies from the University at Buffalo, as well as an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Erie Community College. He is a graduate of Hamburg High School.


Mr. Walsh is currently a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Bar Association of Erie County, Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and the Rehnquist Inn Golden Key International Honor Society. Mr. Walsh was also a member of the Suffolk Law School Club Ice Hockey Team. He currently resides in Hamburg, New York with his wife Julia and their two daughters.

Andrew P. Fleming

Of Counsel


Andrew Fleming is a former partner of the firm. He is now "of counsel" and assists the firm and its clients with personal injury litigation and estate probate matters. His 35+ years of experience on such cases provides additional wisdom in resolving them favorably for the firm's clients.


He has represented injured individuals in all types of personal injury actions. A pragmatic and determined litigator, Mr. Fleming regularly achieves success for his clients.


Mr. Fleming received his law degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Law. He received his bachelor of arts degree, cum laude , from Pace University. Previous to practicing law, Mr. Fleming was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
